Working on a new logo for Dixie Michell owner of Guitar Company of America. Dixie herself is an accomplished picker. I wanted to give her a clean classic look with no frills. Focusing on an easy to read font that comes across as clear as the music that comes from the handmade guitars she has become famous for producing. Dixie has a long history of providing quality instruments for customers such as Bruce Springsteen.

This project is alot more fun, I get to work with my neighbor and good friend Steve Parker, who by-the-way is sporting my new shirt. Steve has been gracious enough to expose me to Dixie’s music and I want to thank him for it. Looking forward to seeing this project from inception to completion. Crossed fingers, knock on wood.
